At Hampton Grange, preparing an appetising range of food is a top priority as it is one pleasure we can all enjoy and is something, we believe, can make a significant contribution to the health and well-being of our residents.
Our fresh food is locally sourced and carefully prepared in our own kitchens, by our professionally qualified staff. Our Head Chef, Jaro, won the Regional ‘Care Cook of the Year’ 2013 and went onto come 2nd in the national finals in London.
Three hot meals are served every day at set times, but anyone can request tea, coffee or a snack at other times. Fresh fruit is always available.
Our menus are varied, nutritious and seasonal using the best ingredients for the time of the year, sometimes straight from our gardens.
In addition, special diets are catered for, for example soft or diabetic diets and we always welcome suggestions or individual requests from our residents or families and actively encourage residents and relatives to attend our nutrition meetings.
Menus are placed around the home and in residents rooms and a member of staff will talk the resident through it and take a request from each resident daily.
Meals can be taken in the elegant dining room or in the resident’s own room if preferred.
