Lynhales Hall have, for six years now, sponsored Kington Town FC and we see it as a really important part of working with and supporting our local community. After all Kington Town FC is a real community hub for Kington and the surrounding areas!
Last weekend we went down to visit the ground and hand over the teams brand new fully logo’d up kit. The sun came out, the skies were blue and the Hereford Times popped by to photograph the team in their new kit. They have very generously shared their photos with us which you can see here on this post (thank you so much Joel and everyone at the Hereford Times!).
Our sponsorship of Kington Town FC isn’t just about providing kit to the team; our admin staff sits on their committee and helps plan events and the club hosts numerous events for local residents too including the local diabetic clinic, the Legg Club as well as events and fundraisers for Parkinson’s. In addition we also get to join in with the team training on our Paddock at Lynhales which is hugely exciting and challenging in equal measure! We all get involved – staff and residents - and with a full programme of games planned we will be attending many of them with our residents cheering on Kington FC! We also have a signed team strip framed and ready to go up on the wall in our John Sperry Unit.
With Kington Town FC now touring Herefordshire and the surrounding counties we hope that many more people will see the Lynhales Hall name, come and visit us and find out more about the care and support we offer. Until then maybe we’ll see you at a Kington Town FC game?!
