A Stroll through the Museum at Dorset House...
Wednesday 18th May marked #NationalMuseumDay and residents and staff at Dorset House were quick to create their very own exhibition.
A range of historical artefacts were displayed throughout the home, some of which were former treasures belonging to the late great Florence Nightingale which had been donated to the home. Dorset House has a few retired Teachers who were only too happy to put on their teaching hats once more and create history boards and fact sheets covering childhood history and Florence Nightingale. By the end of the day staff and residents became very knowledgable historians indeed!
