The day featured a visit from
The Good Day Farm alongside children from
Blue Giraffe Nursery, creating a lovely intergenerational experience. Residents enjoyed meeting a variety of animals, including a two-week-old lamb, chicks, rabbits, a hamster, a chicken and a tortoise.
Creativity was also at the heart of the event, as ladies from St Peters, St Augustine and St Andrews churches joined residents to create beautiful floral table decorations. These were displayed in the dining room, adding a touch of spring colour and a gentle floral scent throughout the space.
The celebrations also included a visit from the Mayor of Droitwich, Councillor Chris Bowden, and Councillor Eric Bowden, alongside entertainment from local singing group The Fossils, who brought a lively atmosphere to the day. Guests also enjoyed a selection of homemade cakes prepared by the catering team.
Lisa Davis, Lifestyle Coordinator at Dorset House, said: “It was a lovely day celebrating spring with our residents and welcoming members of the community into the home.
