All pupils entered the competition, crafting their creations from tissue, card, felt and crayons, and penning personal messages inside for individual residents. The winners received a prized chocolate Easter egg each, presented in a school assembly during the summer term.
The Home Manager, Louise Craddock said:
“The Easter Card Competition is a firm favourite on the calendar! Our residents were honoured to receive personal messages from the children and admired their creativity – it was a tough decision choosing the winners! Linking the different generations has such a positive effect on the children and the residents and we look forward to holding another competition later on in the year for Christmas!”
