What a delightful day we had at Dorset House Nursing Home, filled with heartwarming moments and shared joy during our Harvest Festival celebration!

Our morning kicked off with a special child-friendly service led by Jane and Sandy from St. Peters Church. With the delightful presence of our young friends from Blue Giraffe Nursery, we sang cheerful tunes like the "Red and Yellow and Pink and Green" colour song and "The Whole World in Your Hands." These moments of togetherness bridged generations, reminding us of the beauty in intergenerational connections.

During the service, we reflected on the significance of the Harvest Festival, discussing its meaning not only for our community but also for people around the world.

In the afternoon, we were treated to a musical delight by the Droitwich Ukulele group from our local community. Residents sang along to the tunes, enveloped in the melodies that filled the air. Our senses were further indulged with a beautiful, themed afternoon tea, featuring delectable harvest-themed cakes lovingly prepared by our talented kitchen team.

The home itself was adorned in vibrant bunting made by our residents, crafted in autumnal colours.

We thank James Giles and Sons Ltd and George Crump and Son funeral service for their support.
