Resident Tony Bowlder was honoured to welcome his guests, Mike Clarke and Trevor Basset, to the home in their full military uniform. The reunion evoked precious memories as the gentleman reminisced of their years of service over tea and beer.
Tony emotionally commented:
“Living with Dementia makes you feel like you’ve lost your identity, but this experience has made me feel myself again”.
The veterans were reunited once more on Remembrance Sunday, attending the Remembrance parade in Droitwich in their military uniform.
