We’re delighted to share that Jenny Gordon, Clinical Lead at Dorset House Care Home, has been named a finalist in The Good Nurse Award category at this year’s Worcestershire Health & Social Care Awards.

Jenny has dedicated more than a decade of her career to supporting residents and their families, bringing together clinical expertise, compassion and a strong commitment to person-centred care.

As Clinical Lead, Jenny plays an important role in supporting both residents and the wider team at Dorset House. She regularly mentors team members, shares her clinical knowledge and advocates for residents to make sure their needs, wishes and wellbeing remain at the heart of their care.

Her dedication is particularly evident when residents need additional support or advocacy. Jenny takes the time to understand each person's circumstances and works closely with those around them to help ensure they receive the right care and support.

Being named a finalist in The Good Nurse Award is a wonderful recognition of Jenny's contribution and the difference she makes every day to residents, families and her fellow team members.

The 2026 awards will culminate in a black-tie dinner at the Bank House Hotel in Bransford on Thursday 3rd September, where the finalists and winners will come together to celebrate achievements across Worcestershire's health and social care sector. We look forward to celebrating with Jenny and wishing her the very best of luck on the night.

Congratulations, Jenny!
