Dorset House Revealed as Finalist at the Caring UK Awards

Dorset House Nursing Home in Droitwich Spa have announced they are finalists at the prestigious Caring UK Awards 2022. The national annual awards celebrate excellence and innovation within the care sector.

Nominated for ‘Quality in Housekeeping’, the dedicated Housekeeping Team at Dorset House are key to maintaining the home’s luxurious surroundings and ensuring infection control. Rotherwood Healthcare, which operates the home, is shortlisted for ‘Care Group of the Year’ as well as ‘Commitment to Training and Development’.  
Karen Johnson, Home Manager at Dorset House, said: 
“It is fantastic to see our dedicated Housekeeping Team here at Dorset House as a finalist. Our housekeepers work tirelessly to clean and maintain our beautiful home while always taking the time to care and build relationships with our residents. Earlier in the month, Mandy Stokes, Head Housekeeper, won overall Employee of the Month across Rotherwood Healthcare, recognising her outstanding contribution and service to the home. I wish the team the best of luck, it is a well-deserved nomination.”

Organised by Script Events in partnership with industry-renowned magazine, ‘Caring UK’, the award winners will be unveiled in an impressive ceremony on 1st December at the Athena in Leicester with members of Rotherwood’s senior management in attendance.
