Join Us For The Rotherwood Music Day

This October, our Rotherwood homes are coming together for Rotherwood Music Day – a celebration of music, entertainment, community and fundraising. With live music, dancing, performances and a special Rotherwood Song performed by all our homes, there’s plenty to look forward to.

From live music and dancing to themed entertainment, performances and a special Rotherwood Song performed by all our homes, Rotherwood Music Day will bring residents, families, friends and local communities together for a wonderful celebration of music, fun and fundraising.

Taking place across our homes on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th October, each event will offer something different, with everyone welcome to join us.

Lynhales Hall
Friday 16th October | From 2pm

Enjoy a special Stars in Their Eyes performance featuring team members, family and friends as music legends including Elvis, ABBA, the Spice Girls, Roy Orbison and Cher. There will also be musical-themed cakes and mocktails.

The event will raise money for Hereford Veteran Support Centre (HVSC).

Kington Court
Saturday 17th October | From 10:30am

Enjoy live entertainment from singer Hayley, instrumental music and refreshments while spending time with family, friends and the local community.

The event will raise money for Open Arms Kington, Kington Court’s Charity of the Year for 2026.

St George’s Park
Saturday 17th October | 1pm–4pm

Enjoy an afternoon of music and entertainment, with a pop star-themed dress-up adding to the fun.

The event will raise money for Home-Start Telford and Wrekin, supporting local families and children.

Dorset House
Saturday 17th October | 11am–4:30pm

Enjoy live performances from The Fossils, traditional Indian dancing and karaoke with Elvis, alongside refreshments and a savoury afternoon tea.

All proceeds will support Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Hampton Grange & Gwen Walford
Saturday 17th October | 2:30pm–5pm

Enjoy Bollywood dancing, mixed music entertainment and a special performance of the Rotherwood Song, alongside Indian-inspired refreshments.

The event will raise money for St Michael’s Hospice.

Colwall Care Home
Saturday 17th October | 11:30am–3:15pm

Enjoy a performance from the Dolloway Dancers, live music from Ray Mytton and a special performance of the Rotherwood and Colwall Care Home song.

All proceeds will support Colwall Community Church.

Roden Hall
Saturday 17th October | From 3pm

Step into Roden Hall’s Jazz Club for live jazz from two regular performers joining together as a duet, alongside a cocktail bar, themed menu and a special performance of the Rotherwood Song.

All proceeds will support Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith.

Supporting Local Charities
Each Rotherwood Music Day event will bring people together while raising funds for a local charity or community organisation.
