A highlight of the event was a visit from the Small Breed Farm, giving residents the opportunity to meet, hold and feed a variety of animals. The experience brought great joy to everyone involved and created many special moments throughout the day.
There was plenty more to enjoy, with raffles, games and a delicious selection of homemade cakes helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all who attended.
The event was made even more special thanks to the efforts of the dedicated team, including Libby and Dora, alongside a talented resident who kindly created a range of beautiful hand-knitted items to support the day.
As well as celebrating the arrival of spring, the event also raised £114 for The Open Arms Kington, supporting an important local cause and reflecting the home’s strong community connections.
Libby Lewis, Home Manager at
Kington Court, said:
