The visit began with a warm welcome as Nigel Huddleston was greeted by the residents, many of whom were eager to share their stories and experiences. Mr. Huddleston took the time to listen attentively, offering a compassionate ear. Later he and his Constituency Assistant Helen McMillan savoured afternoon tea arranged by the home's kitchen team, expressing their admiration for the delightful spread including homemade cakes.
The Dorset House staff team were also delighted to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the care sector with their local MP.
