Jenny Gordon (in the middle) Celebrates With The Team and Home Manager Carol Sabell at Dorset House

We’re delighted to share that Jenny Gordon, Clinical Lead at Dorset House Care Home, has been named the winner of the Good Nurse Award at this year’s Worcestershire Health & Social Care Awards.

Jenny has dedicated more than a decade to caring for residents and supporting their families, bringing together clinical expertise, compassion and a strong commitment to doing what is right for the people in her care.

As Clinical Lead, Jenny also mentors newer nurses, shares her knowledge with the team and advocates for residents to make sure their needs are heard. Her calm approach and determination have made a real difference, particularly when residents have needed her most.

These qualities were recognised through The Good Nurse Award, with Regional Manager Cheryl Walne, who nominated Jenny, describing her as “like a swan gliding across water”, calm and composed even in challenging situations.

For Dorset House, the award is a wonderful recognition of the difference Jenny has made over more than a decade to residents, families and colleagues.

Congratulations, Jenny!
