At Rotherwood’s Colwall Care Home, nursing support is available 24 hours a day. Each resident receives care based on their individual health, mobility and personal needs. Clinical care at Colwall is overseen by our Clinical Lead, who works closely with the nursing and care teams. This includes assessing residents' needs, developing care plans and monitoring their ongoing wellbeing.
We work closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals to create personalised care plans. These plans can evolve as someone’s needs change.

Rotherwood’s Colwall Care Home is a modern, purpose-built home with 60 private en-suite bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own wet room, helping residents maintain privacy and independence. Residents can also bring their own furniture where appropriate, helping their bedroom feel more familiar and personal.
The home also has a lift and wheelchair access, making it easier for residents with reduced mobility to move around.
There are also plenty of places to spend time with other people. The home includes cinema rooms, library areas, a craft room, a café and two pubs. Residents can also enjoy our landscaped grounds and hair and nail salon. From the communal areas and many bedrooms, residents can enjoy beautiful views across to the Malvern Hills.
Mealtimes are designed to be both enjoyable and sociable. Our chefs prepare nutritious, seasonal menus, with different places to dine around the home. When the weather allows, residents can also enjoy meals outside on the terrace.
Our Lifestyle Coordinators create activities around individual interests and abilities. Residents might enjoy gardening, cookery or crafts. There are also opportunities for outings and social events.
Taking part is always a choice. For some residents, an afternoon reading or chatting over coffee can be just as enjoyable.

At Colwall, personalised clinical care is combined with contemporary facilities designed for everyday enjoyment. The home is led by Home Manager Shelley Hearn, who brings nearly 30 years' experience in elderly care. She has worked across roles including dementia care, training and care-home management.
Colwall Care Home is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). As a newer service, the home has not yet received a CQC inspection rating but has been visited by CQC at registration and met all of the expected standards.
