The event at Hampton Grange and neighbouring Gwen Walford was 1920’s themed, with staff suitably dressed in 1920’s costumes and the homes adorned in black and gold feathers, tablecloths and balloons from local business, the Hereford Balloon Shop. Guests were welcomed into the ground floor residential area in Gwen Walford and out into the picturesque grounds, where residents and visitors were offered 1920’s feathered headbands. Coffee and cake were served having been diligently baked by Chefs, Lori and Florin, and residents, visitors and staff talked amongst themselves as a harpist performed.
Louise Craddock, Home Manager of Hampton Grange and Gwen Walford, said:
“What a fantastic afternoon we had at the Hampton and Gwen Silver Sunday Tea Party! Thank you to everyone that visited, baked, and provided entertainment and support. Our residents, families and staff spent quality time building connections with each other over tea and cake!”
