Join Us for Rotherwood's Summer Garden Party Season

This July, Rotherwood homes across Herefordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire will be opening their gardens and welcoming residents, families, friends and local communities to a series of Summer Garden Parties and fundraising events.

From live music and BBQs to traditional fete games, sports days and family entertainment, each event offers a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a summer celebration while supporting a range of local charities and community organisations.

Whether you're looking for a fun family day out, a chance to support a worthy cause, or simply an opportunity to spend time with your local community, everyone is welcome to join us.

Dorset House
Saturday 11th July | From 2pm
Dorset House will kick off the summer celebrations with a charming English garden party in support of Acorns Children's Hospice. Guests can enjoy live music from local performers, including Ian James, alongside a delicious BBQ, street food, sweet treats, an ice cream van and a variety of stalls.

Hampton Grange & Gwen Walford
Thursday 16th July | 12:30pm
Join Hampton Grange and Gwen Walford for a Summer Sports Day packed with fun and community spirit. Featuring sporting activities, friendly animals, live entertainment and a summer BBQ, the event will raise funds for St Michael's Hospice.

Lynhales Hall
Saturday 18th July | 12pm – 4pm
Lynhales Hall's much-loved Summer Garden Party returns with live entertainment, traditional fair games, homemade treats, BBQ refreshments and family fun for all ages. Visitors can enjoy vintage tractors, choir performances, face painting, strawberries and cream, a grand raffle and much more, all while supporting HVSC.

Roden Hall
Saturday 18th July | From 11am
Roden Hall will host a lively summer celebration featuring live music, outdoor games, craft stalls, homemade bakes and a traditional BBQ. Guests can also visit the popular tiki bar for cocktails and mocktails while helping raise money for Hope House Children's Hospices.

St George's Park
Saturday 18th July | From 12pm
St George's Park invites guests to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of live entertainment, BBQ food, traditional fete games, an ice cream van and resident-made crafts. The event will support Home-Start, helping local families and children within the community.

Colwall Care Home
Sunday 19th July | 12pm – 3pm
Colwall Care Home will round off the celebrations with a relaxed afternoon of live music, a delicious BBQ and a fun tombola. All proceeds from the event will support Colwall Community Church, helping give back to a valued local organisation.

Supporting Local Charities
Each Summer Garden Party has been organised to support a local charity or community organisation chosen by the home. By attending, guests will not only enjoy a fantastic day of entertainment and hospitality but will also help raise valuable funds for causes making a real difference in local communities.
