The nursing home was honoured to welcome the Mayor of Droitwich, his wife, and their youngest grandchild, who joined the celebrations alongside the delightful children from
Blue Giraffe Childcare Droitwich. The event fostered a spirit of camaraderie, bringing together residents, staff, and guests for a memorable day of connection and compassion.
Guests enjoyed an array of delicious cakes and treats, all perfectly complemented by warming cups of coffee and tea. The gathering was enriched by the joyful singing of hymns, which created a festive atmosphere filled with joy and reflection.
Home Manager Karen Johnson expressed her thanks, saying, "It was such a beautiful day of community and togetherness. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, contributed to the food collection, and supported our
Macmillan fundraiser. The presence of The Mayor and the children from Blue Giraffe Childcare made the event even more special, and we couldn't have done it without the wonderful support of our residents, staff, and guests."
Dorset House would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the food collection for local families in need. The generosity displayed by all attendees underscored the care home's commitment to supporting the community and promoting a sense of belonging. It was truly a beautiful day filled with community spirit, and Dorset House looks forward to hosting more events that bring joy and support to residents and families.
