Attendees had the opportunity to explore the selection of stalls showcasing an array of homemade gifts. Soulful entertainment from Zak, enchanted the crowd with performances of timeless 1940s songs. There was a sumptuous summer barbecue and assortment of delicious cakes, diligently prepared by Head Chef, Marion.
The event was not only about enjoyment, but also a chance to raise money for a worthy cause. Breast Cancer Now benefited from the collective generosity of those that attended, with a remarkable £250 raised to support their vital work. The Summer House was adorned with pink balloons while staff members wore supporting t-shirts.
Karen Johnson, the Home Manager, commented:
