The choir members (who are regular visitors to Lynhales) congregated under the outdoor bandstand to entertain residents and staff with some suitably festive tunes.
The fabulous performance went on for over an hour, whilst residents stayed lovely and cosy under blankets, enjoying warm mince pies and hot chocolate which Tina assured us was the ‘proper stuff’ – not just your average store-bought cocoa powder!!
The atmosphere was very Christmassy indeed and everyone was joining in with the choir, especially resident Eleanor Davies who loves to sing and plays the piano. Final festive touches were added by Ruth, who enthusiastically, and quite expertly, jingled the handbells along to the music.
